MARCH 2025 ASTROLOGY HOROSCOPE FOR YOUR ZODIAC SIGN

March is upon us—and it will be one of the slowest months of the year. As if the onset to 2025 wasn’t slow enough, you will find even more of a sluggish pace. Even though Mars, our mighty red planet of strength and energy, is no longer retrograde as of the end of February, he is still weakened until the middle of May. While we will feel a slight uptick of energy from that, Venus and Mercury will both turn retrograde this month, too. With all three of our personal planets weakened, we, our energy, our relationships, and plans will all be weakened, as well. This is not to harm us. The universe is never out to curse us or “make our lives hard.” Instead, we must look to the lessons that these cycles are teaching us—and I’d encourage you to read your in-depth horoscope for March to find out what areas of your life will be directly affected. Yet, on a collective level, we can know this: the way we are pursuing our goals (Mars), the way we are experiencing our senses and relationships (Venus), and the way we are communicating and perceiving the world (Mercury) need to be revised and pivot in better, more efficient directions. Also, it is clear that situations around health, sex, or war (Mars), pleasure and relationships (Venus), and communication and agreements (Mercury) from the past need to be reflected upon for closure or because they still hold value and we need to bring them back into our present lives. Jupiter, the planet of growth, will move through the heavens of Gemini from May 25, 2024, until June 9, 2025. During this period in time, Jupiter will bring expansion and joy to all of the areas that Gemini rules: communications (such as advertising, branding, marketing, podcasting, blogging, web design, and all industries connected to these areas and to a limited degree of publishing, but especially short-form content), the mind, travel (especially short-distance travel), academics and learning, and social media. However, it is also extremely important to note that Jupiter is weaker in this zodiac sign—known to be in its “detriment.” This means that Jupiter, while still granting us abilities to expand, will have a harder time distilling its energy to bring us rapid and expansive results. While it will not create challenges or “bad” scenarios for us, we may need to apply more effort to manifest results in our lives—particularly around any theme that Gemini rules. Gemini, as a zodiac sign, craves freedom and adventure, and we will, too, during this time—but we will need to be more intentional and focused rather than just spinning off in a whirlwind. If we do, we could find that our goals, energies, and plans dissipate without any staying power and we are consistently spinning our wheels, getting nowhere fast. On a positive note, those who are focused will be able to speak, learn, write, and connect more potently and build their networks. The pace of life will be livelier, upbeat, optimistic, and engaging. Plan for travel during this time and you could make dazzling memories. All those who work in Gemini-ruled businesses will thrive: writers, speakers, education, travel, communications, air-related industries, aeronautics, journalism, linguistics, tourism, and to a limited degree, politics. Jupiter enters its pre-shadow phase on July 8, 2024 at Gemini 11 degrees. Jupiter leaves post-shadow on April 30, 2025. Prepare for a major turning point to begin on March 7, 2023. Saturn, the mighty planet of karma and life lessons, will soar into the reefs of Pisces until May 24, 2025 and again from September 1, 2025 to February 13, 2026. Important learning curves and karmic transitions will take place in regards to all areas that Pisces rules: spirituality, creativity, psychology, mental health, prescriptions, prisons, the unconscious, and healing. Important information about fear, anxiety, and addictions will emerge in the period to come. Karma will come before us and we will find it is time to heal it and let it go. This will be a tremendous period for releasing anything that is holding us back from ascending to our highest good. False prophets, gurus, and secret societies will fall, as well as a streamlining of mainstream spirituality and religion. There will likely be a major overhaul in regards to the medical, psychological, and prison systems. Secrets hidden and disguised in the past thirty years could be aired out in our lives and on a global scale, too. There will be a great focus on how we rest, “escape reality,” and live in illusions or delusions. The key will be to face the truth rather than running away. Those who do so may suffer great losses and further build toxic karma that will need to be resolved in the future or in lives to come. Saturn enters pre-shadow on March 23, 2024, so pay attention to any things that begin to slow down or need revision at this time. On June 29, 2024, Saturn will turn retrograde. Be sure to watch what happens now, as it’ll be revisited when Saturn leaves post-shadow on February 18, 2025.

Pluto, the planet of rebirth, death, transformation, and domination, will orbit in Aquarius until March 8, 2043, at which point it will weave in and out of Aquarius and Pisces. We are officially entering the Age of Aquarius on more a profound level as Pluto inches ever closer to where the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn took place at the end of 2020. This will set off a chain reaction of events that will unfold over the coming two decades ahead. Pluto is a planet of intensity, destruction, transformation and rebirth. In a sense, Pluto is like a phoenix — burning down what does not work in order to rise again. Plutonian energy is very often malefic — bringing forth dramatic and painful experiences in order to shed light on truth and bring us incredibly profound growth. On one hand, Pluto can provide tremendous opportunities for renewal, new beginnings and spiritual and financial growth. However, the negative aspects of this mighty planet often lead to obsession, victimization, domination, power struggles, tyrannical control, war and death. All of the themes that Aquarius rules will experience upheaval during this time: social organization, social media, the Internet, humanitarianism, technology, equality and civil rights, socialism, space travel and exploration, and astrology. On January 10, 2025, Pluto will enter pre-shadow and begin to slow down (at 1 degrees Aquarius).

Electric Uranus will awaken on January 30, 2025 (at 23 degrees Taurus). Since 2018, the planet of revolution and liberation has predominantly been within the zodiac sign of Taurus. It will remain here until July 7, 2025. Then, it will go into Gemini. However, again, it will retrograde and return to Taurus from November 8, 2025 but again leave April 26, 2026 where it will not return for 84 years. Uranus is the planet of transformation, radical change, crisis, and freedom. Whenever it interacts with another planet, shocks and surprises are bound to happen, for better or worse. Even when Uranus causes things to feel chaotic or cause great pain, it always is forcing us to move forward and bring better institutions into creation. Uranus pushes humanity toward its greatest good and to find newfound ways to grow and solve the problems of the collective. When it resides within Taurus for a span of years, the things that Taurus rules will vastly be affected. The things we can expect to see mostly affected are global financial institutions, global currencies, and environmentalism. Expect further developments in these areas for the months to come. Neptune, the Great Diffuser, will venture into the realm of Aries for the first time in nearly 165 years. This next journey occurs from March 30, 2025 until October 22, 2025, and will return later this decade. Neptune, as a planetary archetype, brings spirituality, emotion, healing, and imagination to the realm that it occupies. These are the heightened vibrations we can expect. However, it also brings illusion, delusion, escapism, fantasy, manipulation, addiction, and imprisonment. Because of this, as Neptune moves through Aries, we will face the highs and lows of the Aries themes. Aries-ruled industries and projects will be touched by Neptunian spirituality, imagination, or delusion—“being the first to market,” “being the one breaking ground,” and beyond. The following industries will see evolution in the years to come: sports, gambling, theme parks, military and weapons, metal, cars, facial beauty products and reconstruction, anything facial-oriented, meat, and anything entrepreneurial or thrill seeking. Self-help and wellness companies that focus on “being a leader” and “stepping into your power” will face judgement, particularly in regards to those who are healing and helpful versus those who are deceptive and con artists. However, it is also crucial to note that now that we all live in the digital world of “self-promotion”—this ties to any social media or branding presence. Sizzling Mars soars in direct motion through the shallows of Cancer until April 17, 2025. The red planet is a fiery one, so it will conflict with the very watery nature of this zodiac sign. Together, it will be as if they are making steam—and we will be the ones boiling! Cancer is a Cardinal zodiac sign, and with Mars here, we will be encouraged to pursue our interests and plans ardently. However, symbolized by the crab that walks sideways, we, too, may take a less direct approach to getting what we desire. Our emotions will become highly intensified in the weeks to come and we may find ourselves overwhelmed by intense mood swings and shifts in our energy levels. When confronted with conflict, we will become highly defensive. Domestic, family, and emotional situations will become especially important to us, as well. However, be aware that we will still be in the sluggish, post-shadow period of Mars Retrograde until May 2, 2025. We may still feel lethargic, fatigued, and sorting out the karmic situations around sex, war, desire, conflict, and conquest that we have been dealing with since October 2024.

Our cosmic messenger, mental Mercury, flutter kicks through Pisces until March 3, 2025. This will help our thinking processes to be more imaginative, colorful, and intuitive. We will be highly attuned to our emotions and those of others, which can aid in sensitive communication. Next, our cosmic messenger, Mercury, sizzles on the cliffs of Aries from March 3, 2025 until March 29, 2025. However, Mercury will station retrograde in Aries (at 9 degrees) on March 15, 2025. Mercury returns to Pisces on March 29, 2025 and awakens from its retrograde on April 7, 2025. Mercury chugs along in Pisces in direction motion again until April 15, 2025. Mercury leaves post-shadow on April 26, 2025 and remain in Aries until May 10, 2025. The transit of Mercury in Aries will make our minds especially active and our words sharp! We are less concerned of objective perspectives and more eager to reach a decision rapidly: particularly one that serves us! Our conversations will be more passionate as we channel the bold and assertive nature of Aries. We will want to take the lead in our communications: for better or worse, and we could end up ruffling some feathers. However, Mercury retrograde in Aries will cause challenges around how we assert ourselves around our ideas, showcase our egos, and fight in communication. Mercury retrograde in Pisces will cause challenges around illusions, delusions, anxieties, hidden matters, secret enemies, secrets of all kinds, and mental health.

Venus, our planet of love and pleasure, will retrograde from March 1, 2025 until April 12, 2025. This often makes us reconnect with people and relationships from the past and is an amazing time to rekindle a rapport or find closure. However, it is not a good time to make big decisions around love, beauty, or money. Yet, if you still hold a candle for someone from the past—like the “one who got away”—this is one of the best months to reunite, see if you’ve each grown, and if you’re ready to give it another go. Also, note that since you aren’t seeing anything related to Venus correctly—love, beauty, or money—you may need to review, reassess, and revise how you approach each of them. Venus will retrograde from 10 degrees Aries to 24 degrees Pisces. Venus retrogrades in Aries from March 1, 2025 until it re-enters Pisces on March 27, 2025. Venus retrograde in Aries will cause us to review how we assert ourselves in love, choose independence, and pursue our heart’s desires. This can create more “wars and conflicts” around love and relationships. We may be reconnecting with people who have a fiery, combative, passionate, or ego-focused temperament. Venus retrograde in Pisces will cause us to review how we connect on a soul or karmic level in love and relationships. Past-life relationships may be attracted to us. Pisces Season reigns as we move through March. This is the final sign in the zodiac year and brings great attention to our spiritual natures. You could feel quite reflective now and may be drawn to your spiritual, religious, or emotional sides. Get in touch with your heart in the weeks ahead. In the beginning weeks of March, we will still be feeling the New Moon in Pisces from the end of February. This lunation took place on February 27, 2025 and is a New Moon in Pisces (9 degrees). It arrived at 4:45 PM (Pacific). The energy of this Water sign will be brought forth into our lives and stimulate the collective unconscious. Pisces is the final zodiac sign upon the wheel and signifies the ending, resolution and evolution of the human spirit and life cycle. Just as all stories must come to an end, we can use this period to reflect on what we have built and experienced over the past year before we venture into Aries season with the coming arrival of the Spring Equinox on March 20, 2025. Pisces energy is closely tied to spirituality, creativity, soulmate connections, mysticism and healing, so we will have a higher accessibility to each of these energies at this time. When it comes to astrological aspects coloring this period in time, we will have a few to watch. First, the new moon is closely square Jupiter, which will make us hunger to be larger than life. However, we could also be a bit too indulgent and “push past the limit” as we are too high in the sky. The new moon is also trine Mars in an applying aspect, which can fire us up to take the lead, be courageous, and make personal or professional movements. We will feel attraction, passion, and desire and can be direct and assertive. This may bring us popularity and sex appeal. Neptune, the planetary ruler of this lunation, will be conjunct Mercury, which will bring creativity, fantasy, and spiritual thoughts and emotions to us. We will desire relaxation, pleasure, and connection. The other planets will also be in happy conversation, showing we will have a lively and stimulating period to enjoy. The actions that are taken near this time will likely manifest near the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (15 degrees) on September 7, 2025.

The Worm Moon arrives on March 13, 2025 at 11:55 PM (Pacific) and March 14, 2025 at 2:55 AM (Eastern). The Worm Moon this year is also a lunar eclipse in Virgo (23 degrees). This Earth sign’s energy will echo through the cosmos and our world. Virgo is the sixth zodiac sign in the wheel and is the polarity of Pisces—where the sun currently orbits at this time. Virgo is the zodiac sign of productivity and rules employment, work projects, coworkers, pets and one’s physical health. Virgo is a practical, grounded and efficient zodiac sign, which is what will be important for us to face. Streamlining our plans, schedules and routines will help us to make more progress and get where we wish to be much faster. Creating positive changes around diet, fitness and health will also do well now. This will be a total lunar eclipse, also known as a Blood Moon. The locations that will be able to see this eclipse are: Europe, Much of Asia, Much of Australia, Much of Africa, North America, South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Arctic, Antarctica. The moon will be 100% obscured by Earth's shadow, known as the umbra. The overall duration is 6 hours and 3 minutes, but the duration of totality will be 1 hour 5 minutes. The penumbral eclipse begins at 8:57 PM (Pacific), with maximum eclipse appearing at 11:58 PM (Pacific) and the penumbral eclipse ending the following morning at 3:00 AM (Pacific). This is the first eclipse we're having in the zodiac sign of Virgo since 2016. The upcoming eclipses on the Virgo-Pisces axis include: September 7, 2025 (lunar eclipse in Pisces at 15 degrees), September 21, 2025 (solar eclipse in Virgo at 29 degrees), March 3, 2026 (lunar eclipse in Virgo 13 degrees), August 28, 2026 (lunar eclipse in Pisces 5 degrees), and February 20, 2027 (lunar eclipse in Virgo 2 degrees). As for astrological aspects affecting this lunation, we can see that it is directly opposite Saturn, which could bring significant challenges for us to face at this time. We could feel that we’re facing opposition or are weakened. This is further amplified by the lunation standing opposite Neptune, too, which can make us confused, hypersensitive, and feel as if we are immersed in illusion. However, the lunation is in an exact trine to Uranus, showing that there could be stimulating and exhilarating surprises at this time, too, especially if we are too look at life from a different perspective and step outside of our comfort zones. The moon is sextile Mars, too, bringing courage, attraction, and passion to us at this time, as well. Mercury, the planetary ruler of this lunation, is conjunct Venus, which should aid us in resolving any challenges that pop up if we are able to work with fairness, kindness, and a focus upon connection. Our minds could be quite filled with social, romantic, and creative thoughts because of this, too.

Yet, an important turning point arrives in March, too. The Spring Equinox will dawn on March 20, bringing the roaring stampede of Aries Season! This is often a time of powerful new beginnings, marking the official start of the zodiac year. Aries Season is a time that encourages our independence, leadership, and passion to begin new journeys.

The solar eclipse in Aries (9 degrees) takes place on March 29, 2025 at 3:58 AM (Pacific) and 6:58 AM (Eastern). This will be a supermoon! This lunation will be a partial solar eclipse. The regions that will be able to see it are: Europe, North in Asia, North/West Africa, Much of North America, North in South America, Atlantic, Arctic. The first location to see the partial eclipse begin will start 1:50 AM (Pacific), with maximum eclipse at 3:47 AM (Pacific), and the last location seeing the partial eclipse at 5:43 AM (Pacific). It is the last eclipse in Aries between 2023 and 2025. The actions and plans you launch now will culminate around the full moon in Aries (14 degrees) on October 6, 2025. Be brave. Be passionate. Be proud. The solar eclipse will bring a surge of excitement and passion to our lives, as we will be inspired to take the leap and move in a new direction. Aries is the first zodiac sign on the wheel, encouraging us to strike out into new territory, launch new projects, and envision what we’d like to tackle in the year to come. Aries energy is bold, passionate and adventurous, allowing us to assert our egos and pursue our innermost desires. Ruled by Mars, Aries is aggressive, impulsive and assertive—bringing to mind the image of “the early bird gets the worm.” Use this lunation to look at your vision board and start to make it happen! Mercury retrograde also takes place this month and it occurs from March 15, 2025 until April 7, 2025. Mercury retrograde brings miscommunication, delays, and confusion. It is not an ideal time to sign contracts, buy technology or anything expensive, or make big decisions. This will be rather challenging—as you may be forced to make some important decisions due to the eclipses that are arriving this month. If this is the case, know that you must proceed with the information that is available to you and potentially re-evaluate and revise plans later on down the line. We are in a very slow period until the middle of May—so don’t push against the grain and delay decisions if you possibly can until that month if possible. Both of these retrogrades will draw attention to the following themes: how you assert yourself and your ideas and beauty, your personal projects and ego, as well as your past, mental health, and karma.

Next, let’s look at your planetary ruler, Mars. You’ll find a focus on home, family, and domestic affairs.
