NOVEMBER 2024 ASTROLOGY HOROSCOPE FOR YOUR ZODIAC SIGN

In truth, the end of 2024 is rather rocky, filled with many cosmic storms and retrogrades. However, my favorite thing about astrology is that by watching the stars, we can plan ahead. We know when to proceed—and when to lie low. We also know when to harness the best energies.

First to note is that since October, we’ve noticed a sluggish pace growing. Mars, planet of energy, is slowing down in a pre-shadow phase. Mars journeys into Leo on November 3, but will station retrograde next month. You’ll likely notice that an area of your life is experiencing increased hurdles, obstacles, and bringing frustration. Pay attention to what seems “off” this month because you’ll likely review it and have to face some challenges around these matters throughout December.

Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune are also retrograde—or “asleep.” Be sure to look back at previous monthly forecasts to see exactly how those retrogrades are affecting you. Mercury enters pre-shadow, or begins to slow down, on November 7 and you’ll feel communications and plans spiraling off the tracks, to be faced more prominently during the official Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius (between 22 degrees to 6 degrees) between November 25, 2024 and December 15, 2024. As you can see, the end of the year is highly encouraging us to reflect, reconnect with people and situations from the past, and lie low.

Jupiter, the planet of growth, will move through the heavens of Gemini from May 25, 2024, until June 9, 2025. During this period in time, Jupiter will bring expansion and joy to all of the areas that Gemini rules: communications (such as advertising, branding, marketing, podcasting, blogging, web design, and all industries connected to these areas and to a limited degree of publishing, but especially short-form content), the mind, travel (especially short-distance travel), academics and learning, and social media. However, it is also extremely important to note that Jupiter is weaker in this zodiac sign—known to be in its “detriment.” This means that Jupiter, while still granting us abilities to expand, will have a harder time distilling its energy to bring us rapid and expansive results. While it will not create challenges or “bad” scenarios for us, we may need to apply more effort to manifest results in our lives—particularly around any theme that Gemini rules. Gemini, as a zodiac sign, craves freedom and adventure, and we will, too, during this time—but we will need to be more intentional and focused rather than just spinning off in a whirlwind. If we do, we could find that our goals, energies, and plans dissipate without any staying power and we are consistently spinning our wheels, getting nowhere fast. On a positive note, those who are focused will be able to speak, learn, write, and connect more potently and build their networks. The pace of life will be livelier, upbeat, optimistic, and engaging. Plan for travel during this time and you could make dazzling memories. All those who work in Gemini-ruled businesses will thrive: writers, speakers, education, travel, communications, air-related industries, aeronautics, journalism, linguistics, tourism, and to a limited degree, politics. Jupiter enters its pre-shadow phase on July 8, 2024 at Gemini 11 degrees. Jupiter turns retrograde on October 9, 2024 until February 4, 205. Jupiter leaves post-shadow on April 30, 2025. Be sure to watch all of the dates near this time, as you’ll feel the change in motion quite noticeably.

Prepare for a major turning point to begin on March 7, 2023. Saturn, the mighty planet of karma and life lessons, will soar into the reefs of Pisces until May 24, 2025 and again from September 1, 2025 to February 13, 2026. Important learning curves and karmic transitions will take place in regards to all areas that Pisces rules: spirituality, creativity, psychology, mental health, prescriptions, prisons, the unconscious, and healing. Important information about fear, anxiety, and addictions will emerge in the period to come. Karma will come before us and we will find it is time to heal it and let it go. This will be a tremendous period for releasing anything that is holding us back from ascending to our highest good. False prophets, gurus, and secret societies will fall, as well as a streamlining of mainstream spirituality and religion. There will likely be a major overhaul in regards to the medical, psychological, and prison systems. Secrets hidden and disguised in the past thirty years could be aired out in our lives and on a global scale, too. There will be a great focus on how we rest, “escape reality,” and live in illusions or delusions. The key will be to face the truth rather than running away. Those who do so may suffer great losses and further build toxic karma that will need to be resolved in the future or in lives to come. Saturn enters pre-shadow on March 23, 2024, so pay attention to any things that begin to slow down or need revision at this time. On June 29, 2024, Saturn will turn retrograde. Be sure to watch what happens now, as it’ll be revisited when Saturn leaves post-shadow on February 18, 2025. Currently, Saturn will be weakened and in a retrograde phase until November 15, 2024, so his harder lessons may be a bit softer or at the very least internalized.

Pluto, planet of death, rebirth, powerful people, large masses of people, returns to Capricorn, where it has been residing since 2008. It takes Pluto 244 years to go around the Sun. Whenever Pluto resides in a constellation, whatever that zodiac sign rules goes through a breakdown phase to make room for new growth. This is very much a “phoenix effect,” whereby what isn’t working is burnt down so that new life can emerge in that place. Structures that no longer serve us are dismantled. In a sense, the Universe is creating a “course correction” in the destiny of humanity. If we understand the process and surrender to it, we can reach empowerment and enlightenment. However, if we resist and hold onto the past, our lives will be filled with tragedy and pain during these times. Everything that Capricorn rules has been going through a period of change: our governments, political structures, those in power, big business, and global economies. Pluto awakens from a retrograde phase on October 11, 2024. It will remain in this sector until November 19, 2024, never again to return in our lifetimes.

Pluto, the planet of rebirth, death, transformation, and domination, enters Aquarius on November 19, 2024, to March 8, 2043, at which point it will weave in and out of Aquarius and Pisces. We are officially entering the Age of Aquarius on more a profound level as Pluto inches ever closer to where the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn took place at the end of 2020. This will set off a chain reaction of events that will unfold over the coming two decades ahead. Pluto is a planet of intensity, destruction, transformation and rebirth. In a sense, Pluto is like a phoenix — burning down what does not work in order to rise again. Plutonian energy is very often malefic — bringing forth dramatic and painful experiences in order to shed light on truth and bring us incredibly profound growth. On one hand, Pluto can provide tremendous opportunities for renewal, new beginnings and spiritual and financial growth. However, the negative aspects of this mighty planet often lead to obsession, victimization, domination, power struggles, tyrannical control, war and death. All of the themes that Aquarius rules will experience upheaval during this time: social organization, social media, the Internet, humanitarianism, technology, equality and civil rights, socialism, space travel and exploration, and astrology.

As of August 18, 2024, we are officially entering eclipse season. Eclipse season officially begins one month prior to the first eclipse and lasts for one month after the final one. This is a time when there will be more synchronicities, as we will feel a more electrical energy running through the cosmos. We may feel a bit more “on edge,” as we sense something major is just around the corner. Because of this, we will begin to notice major beginning, endings, turning points, culminations, and shifts of fate. Pay attention to your intuition to see what it is picking up. We are in eclipse season until November 2, 2024.

Sizzling Mars dives into the shallows of Cancer from September 4, 2024 until November 3, 2024. The red planet is a fiery one, so it will conflict with the very watery nature of this zodiac sign. Together, it will be as if they are making steam—and we will be the ones boiling! Cancer is a Cardinal zodiac sign, and with Mars here, we will be encouraged to pursue our interests and plans ardently. However, symbolized by the crab that walks sideways, we, too, may take a less direct approach to getting what we desire. Our emotions will become highly intensified in the weeks to come and we may find ourselves overwhelmed by intense mood swings and shifts in our energy levels. When confronted with conflict, we will become highly defensive. Domestic, family, and emotional situations will become especially important to us, as well. However, it’s extremely important to note that we are heading toward a Mars retrograde phase. Mars enters pre-shadow on October 4, 2024 at 17 degrees Cancer. Mars retrograde begins on December 6, 2024 at 6 degrees Leo. This Mars retrograde moves backwards through Leo and Cancer (causing tension or reflection around Leo themes: love and courtship, dating, expression, our passions, hobbies, competitive games, creativity, or children; as well as Cancer’s themes: our emotional stability and security, our traditions and roots, home, family, and domesticity). Mars is weakened in Cancer, known to be in its Fall, meaning this will be a rather challenging Mars retrograde cycle. Mars moves direct through Leo from November 4, 2024 to station direct on December 6, 2024, to move retrograde in Leo until January 6, 2024. Mars returns in a retrograde to Cancer on January 6, 2025 and stations direct in Cancer on February 23, 2025. Mars than proceeds direct in Cancer until April 18, 2025. Beginning November 3, 2024, the red planet will ascend the throne of Leo to remain until January 6, 2025. Mars burns especially bright here, as Leo’s fervent fuel ignites it so very well. During this time, we will become especially theatrical, passionate, and vivacious. We will be prone to dramatic expressions of who we are and what we want, as we are driven to be over the top. Our sex drive, charm, and confidence will soar and we will harness the strength to charge after our biggest goals. This period will be fantastic to pursue our romantic and creative desires, so prepare for summer heat! Our social lives will prosper and we will surely feel happier than recent times. Singles must be on the lookout for love, while anyone seeking a social life will see it flourish. Be bold. Be a star. Show the world what you’ve got and roar. Note that Mars will return in Leo from April to June 2025, so you may see a resurgence on the themes established now.

At the onset of November, the Sun will be submerged within the stormy seas of Scorpio until November 21, 2024. We will collectively be drawn to explore our intimate and passionate needs more closely. A new moon in Scorpio (9 degrees) takes place on November 1, 2024 at 5:47 AM (Pacific). The energy of this elemental Water sign will be quite prominent in our lives at this time. Scorpio is the eighth zodiac sign on the wheel and aligns with intimacy, sexuality, assets and investments. The situations, plans, and initiatives launched in the week following this lunation will culminate at the full moon in Scorpio (22 degrees) on May 12, 2025. New moons in Scorpio turn our focus to how we share resources in our lives and within other people. It is important to strike a balance between what we give and receive. Our conscious minds will be more open to the wells of unconscious, as Scorpio’s energy is probing and fathomless. We may suddenly become obsessed with ideas or concepts. Our darker nature may emerge at this time and our shadow self could be rearing its hunger for us to confront. What are you running from, hiding from, or fearful to face? No matter who you are, by being aware of your shadow self, you can better integrate your awareness with your consciousness. As night cannot exist without day, darkness cannot exist without light. Our darker selves deserve to be embraced, cherished, and understood, rather than hidden away. This awareness can lead us to happier lives. Our intuition will also be heightened. On November 2, 2024, Mercury enters Sagittarius until January 8, 2025. Our minds and communication will become impulsive, direct, and spontaneous. We will be drawn to viewing many different ideas and become fascinated with debate and discussion. We will feel especially fiery about what we believe and seek to persuade others to our points of view. However, be aware that Mercury will enter a pre-shadow phase on November 7, 2024 (at Sagittarius 6 degrees), meaning that we will start to notice matters slowing down in our lives. Our goddess planet of love and beauty, Venus, will dance in the fields of Sagittarius and ignite like a fire dancer from October 17, 2024 until November 11, 2024. During this time, we will crave adventure in our relationships and thrive upon spontaneity. We will want adrenaline-filled passionate love and may become more open to experimentation and exploration. Singles can meet vibrant new potentials, especially if they’re willing to be bold, dynamic, and put themselves out there directly. In Sagittarius, Venus becomes less possessive and is open to casual connections, knowing that the truth about love is that the journey is just as important as the destination. Let your heart soar during this time. Laugh until your heart cannot anymore. Allow dating and romance to be fun. The Beaver Moon will arrive on November 15, 2024. It will also be a full moon in Taurus (24 degrees). It will reach fullness at 1:28 PM (Pacific). We will feel its energy from the 12th until the 19th of November. Any important lunation in Taurus—particularly new moons or full moons—draw attention to what this zodiac sign rules: wealth, income, material possessions, and the physical world in which we live.
