JUNE 2020 ASTROLOGY HOROSCOPE FOR YOUR ZODIAC SIGN
Destiny is calling you as we enter June 2020, but the past still has many lessons whispering to your mind. June will be a very peculiar month because not only are we officially entering eclipse season, when sudden and rapid crises arrive to shift our directions and propel us forward into new circumstances, but many of the planets are spinning backward in retrograde motion simultaneously. This is why we may feel in June and July that we are taking two steps forward and one step back repeatedly, as if we cannot break through the cycle fully to the other side. We have three back-to-back eclipses in the coming weeks ahead, signaling tremendous turning points upon all of our paths. Throughout the rest of the year, however, many of our planets are encouraging you to revisit the past so that you can be certain you’ve learned everything you need to from it. Sometimes we run along in our lives so rapidly and “move onto the next thing” before we’ve fully “finished” that project or relationship properly. In essence, this means we are an impatient species, one who certainly does not like to wait, and we often think we have it all figured out. But we don’t, and that must humble us because there are so many things greater than us that we may not yet understand. Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn—very powerful outer planets—are all retrograde now, fast asleep and turning their powers inward so that we can undergo internal transformation and enlightenment. As I had predicted in a previous article about the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the world has begun to see some of the restrictions and regulations pull back. Some people certainly believe the coronavirus is a hoax or disappearing, but I emphatically tell you that it is not. People are dying and it is restructuring our world as we know it. It will rage again in the Fall and Winter months (in the Northern Hemisphere) when Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn “wake up.” The summer months will hopefully allow you to catch your breath and re-establish at least a little bit of normalcy in your routine.
One of the easiest examples that I can give to you regarding the past calling to you is through the phenomena called Venus Retrograde. I wrote an in-depth analysis of what this cycle means, as well as why we often cross paths with exes, twin flames, and soul mates during these times. Venus Retrograde began on May 13th and officially continues until June 25th. It will, however, echo on until the end of July because we are essentially in the center of a time vortex now. No matter who you are, you have had experiences with lovers or friends that didn’t work out. So often people want to “move onto” the next person or relationship, but when we do this, we may be actually moving on prematurely. This could be for one of a few different reasons. First, we may actually be letting go of a relationship that still has beauty and merit to it or that is not “done.” By forging forward without giving it another chance, you’re actually missing out on what could have brought you growth and happiness. No relationship is perfect or “easy”—especially twin flame connections. Sometimes we are supposed to fight for it. Sometimes we are supposed to give it another chance. Venus Retrograde could be telling you that you both have now grown and are in a better place to align. On the other hand, sometimes we “move on” to forget someone (or a situation) and bandage a wound rather than fixing the inherent issue. No one likes bad blood, and when we have scorn, hatred, or pain between us with another person whom we had loved, it creates a vampiric energetic bond that drains both of the people rather than uplifting them. Facing trauma and fears, especially in relationships, and forgiving and atoning for what happened is harder than just walking away and ignoring it. This does not allow you to grow, though. This is another reason that Venus Retrograde occurs: for closure. In order to truly move on and to find healthier relationships, you must emotionally and mentally understand why it did not work out and to release one another peacefully. While many people wish for the Universe to bring things to them (which in itself is lazy), I encourage you to use Venus Retrograde to your advantage. Rather than being at the mercy of the cosmos, seize the day to create the life that you want. If you believe that person from before is the one who got away, you can reconnect now and let them know how you feel. If they do not want to or have not grown, at least you tried and can let them go. If you hate how things ended with someone you truly cared for and instead want peace and closure, reconnect and find that common ground. You don’t need to open the door to it coming back to life, but you can forgive them and yourself. This will allow you to clear space and find more fulfilling relationships down the road.
Mercury, too, will be summoning the past back to life like a necromancer raising the dead. On June 18th, our trickster planet of communication turns backward in the night’s sky. However, we will feel the approaching Mercury Retrograde as early as June 2nd. This retrograde will officially last until July 12th, when it will finally turn direct and return to its forward movement. This means that throughout June and July, you will be feeling your emotions and mind are in need of balance. In the summer of 2019, we also had a similar Mercury Retrograde in the zodiac sign of Cancer, as it will again occur here in 2020. Pay attention to where your life was seeing confusion then and you will likely see similar patterns of miscommunication occur once again. Neptune, planet of illusion and mystery, will also turn backward on the 22nd, increasing even more of your reflective nature for months ahead. Expect your dreams to become more intense, as well.
June 2020 has two of the three upcoming eclipses, both signaling a crisis or sudden development depending on where it falls for your Rising Sign and Sun Sign (always read for both below). A Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius roars within the sky on June 5th. Eclipses—whether they are Solar Eclipses or Lunar Eclipses—cause our lives to shift rather quickly and intensely. The energy of this Lunar Eclipse will culminate in an area of our lives, especially something we have been building since the end of November 2019. Sagittarius is a Fire Sign that is known for its connection to academics, spirituality, and culture. It is a zodiac sign that always pursues new horizons. During this time, we will feel the energy electrify our lives and be eager to break into new territory. Lunar Eclipses mark destined endings, turning points, and achievements and tend to be extremely emotional. Pay attention to how your life shifts near this time because it is the first chapter in a new storybook of eclipses that will echo on later in 2020 and on into 2021. Later, a Solar Eclipse in Cancer will energize our lives on June 20th/21st and echo on for the coming six months—opening a major path before us. We have been having eclipses in Cancer since 2018, and the Universe is drawing major attention to one area of your life telling you it is time to be called onto your next adventure and evolve yet again. Solar eclipses tend to be more friendly, less emotional, and bring significant new projects, opportunities, and relationships to us. With this being an eclipse in Cancer, the energy of this zodiac sign will certainly be infused into our lives. We will be focused on how stable and secure the foundation of our lives is.
Last to note in this already dramatic and intense month is that Mars will be in Pisces until the 27th, when it will finally charge on into Aries. Mars, the mighty planet of passion and drive, will be spending an extraordinarily long time in its home zodiac sign of Aries. It will remain here until January 6th, 2021. When Mars enters a sector of our lives, he energizes it significantly and we tend to see a great deal of momentum build here. Mars burns brightly in Aries, empowering us to pursue our personal goals, ambitions, and put our independence first. This aggressive energy will infuse us and we will be spurned to go after who or what we want impulsively without thinking twice. However, the reason Mars is spending so much time—nearly six months—in this piece of the sky is because it will go retrograde from September 9th until November 13th. This means that we will feel our efforts suddenly stalled with conflicts, frustrations, and roadblocks appearing before us during that time. Use the weeks when Mars is in healthy movement prior to September and then from November onward to move your most important plans forward. Absolutely launch nothing of importance nor begin an official relationship (including marriage) when Mars is retrograde as it means the project, plan, or union will ultimately fail.

What a year it has been for you, Capricorn. Ups and downs, surely. Many of you felt as if you had been given the golden crown of the Gods, dangled before you. A new life certainly has been calling to you since December 2019, filled with new horizons, opportunities, and growth. This has been because of Jupiter, planet of miracles, in your Sun Sign.
