MALEFICENT'S RISE IN THE BOX OFFICE, PLUS ANGELINA JOLIE + BRAD PITT'S ASTROLOGICAL COMPATIBILITY
Angelina Jolie is a Gemini Sun with a Cancer Rising. Brad Pitt is a Sagittarius Sun with a Sagittarius Rising. Right off the bat, you can see why their Sun signs are aligned, as they exist in a polarity. Angelina and Brad both crave freedom, expansion, and adventure. This means that Angelina was directly opposed from Saturn, meaning all of her partnerships suddenly felt colder, sharper, more painful, and more distant. Brad wasn’t the loving husband, he was causing her direct conflict. They were at odds. Brad, himself, was feeling more depressed and more weighted down, and all of his fire seemed to be dampened, and he certainly was looking for ways to break out of that because Sagittarius does not deal well with immense weight or oppression. This will cause them to act out. They filed for divorce in 2016, and now the divorce proceedings are still going on. This is because Saturn is moving through her sector of divorce settlements and re-establishing her own independence, whereas for Brad, it is in his house of money and possessions. They’re still figuring all of that out.
As for why Angelina was feeling so low and difficult for her to return to her limelight and power with Maleficent, it is because of Saturn, the taskmaster, moving through her Solar 7th and 8th Houses from 2014 - 2020. She is facing deep opposition from the world around her and in her partnerships, and she feels isolated and alone. However, now, with it moving through her sector of intimacy and karma, she is facing it for things she has done, as well as again feeling at times rejected and cold, which can be very defeating.
