Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Are Star-Crossed

First off, when looking at astrological compatibility, I always assess many factors.

Kourtney Kardashian was born on April 18, 1979. From her natal chart, we can see that she is an Aries Sun, Capricorn Moon, and Pisces Ascendant. For all of the astro-newbies out there, I’ll break it down in a sec.

Travis Barker was born on November 14, 1975. From his natal chart, we can see that he is a Scorpio Sun, Aries Moon, and Cancer Ascendant.

When it comes to their Sun sign compatibility (AKA intrinsic personality), both of them burn hot, crave passion, and aren’t afraid of a bit of drama. They both have intense personalities and an “all or nothing” mentality. Also, with their Ascendants (think: the mask they wear) both being in Water signs, they naturally flow and blend together in a sensitive and intuitive way. Kourtney is a bit more dreamy and romantic, but this allows Travis to feel safe to love and open up his heart.

Another awesome factor is that Travis’s Moon sign is Aries—the same zodiac sign as Kourtney’s Sun sign. They feel united in how they can relate to one another, on a physical and emotional frequency. Swoon!

On a further dive into their combined charts, I see that Travis’s natal Sun is linked to Kourtney’s natal Venus—meaning they make each other feel great and they have a strong friendship as a foundation, based on common interests and a mutual pursuit of sensual enjoyment. They can build a permanent bond easily—and best of all, they are receptive to each other.

But it isn’t all smooches and cuddles for this two: there’s actually hella chemistry that most people would die for. The way the planets link show that their physical attraction is magnetic, and they’re action and ravenously sexually-oriented. There is a strong ability to transform one another through positive experiences and yes, mind-blowing orgasms. Woof! No wonder they’re seeing stars!

Kourtney Kardashian & Scott Disick: Meant to Meet, But Not to Last

Next up: let us call Scott Disick up before me to the astro-stand! Scott Disick was born on May 26, 1983. From what we can see from his natal chart, he is a Gemini Sun with a Sagittarius Moon. This means that he was born on a Full Moon—and TBH, is just one of the reasons he tends to live larger than life (and uh, go a bit wild).

When comparing his stars to Kourtney’s, we can definitely see the rapport between them. Kourtney is an Aries, which is a Fire sign, while Scott is a Gemini, which is an Air sign. Typically, this combination of elements goes extremely well together because without oxygen, a flame cannot burn. When it’s good, it’s really great—and their energy can be mutually supportive. But too much wind will extinguish a candle, whereas too much fire can create an explosion. This can be seen many times throughout the couple’s somewhat on-again/off-again situationship. The best part about the rapport between Kourtney and Scott is that at the base of it all, they are friends and can support each other.

Sure, I even see why—and how—their whirlwind love story had plenty of passion and intensity—but also why it was riddled with instability in the end. Uranus, the planet of chaos and unpredictability, is highly active in both of their charts. This always shows a relationship that ends up having a very unusual quality or set-up to it, and even creates a sense of rebellion. When it’s sweet, they feel happy to take risks and embrace the eccentricity, but when it’s toxic—well, it’s not good for anyone.

On even further analysis of their connection, I do see why mystics and shamans have stated that Kourtney and Scott are soulmates. BUT we have many soulmates in a lifetime—we don’t just have “one.” That’s a common misconception, and I’m setting the record straight (you’re welcome). Saturn, the planet of karma and life lessons, is clashing in both of their natal charts—revealing that when it was bad, there was a tendency to feel criticized from one another and always opposed. Pluto, the planet of domination and rebirth, is also in a challenging position in their combined charts—revealing a tendency to fall into obsession, possession, and depression when things aren’t working out how one wants. And sadly, it’s Scott’s natal Pluto that’s clashing with Kourtney’s Sun, meaning that he is the one that is more prone to, uh, these darker traits than she is. Sorry, bro, it just wasn’t meant to be forever.

My Final Verdict

When it comes to love, I do always say that even the most challenging relationships or astrological connections can work—through a great deal of effort, energy, and communication. And TBH: even the easiest rapports often need maintenance, too. While I do think both Travis and Scott are soulmate connections to Kourtney, I believe that Scott is the one that is more karmic in nature, perhaps even a past-life relationship, that prepared Kourtney for the experiences and relationships to come. You can’t compare each connection to say which is more important or meaningful, because they both play a special role in her life—in the past, the present, and the future.
