Prince Charles’s birth chart shows he was born to be a leader

Prince Charles was born on November 14, 1948. This makes him an intense Scorpio Sun with a grounded Taurus Moon and a regal Leo Ascendant. The thing I want to point out right away is that all three of these placements fall in Fixed signs, which means that he has incredible perseverance, stamina and focus. However, he is also tremendously set in his ways and can be quite stubborn to resist change—especially when he sets his mind on something. When it comes to elemental energy, he’s heavily composed of Fire followed by Air. This makes him greatly passionate and can bring him a dramatic, forceful and charismatic personality that leaves others inspired—or burnt if they’re standing in the way of what he desires. Also, he is quite “all or nothing” in his approach to life and sees the world as black and white. To add further emphasis on this, he has Pluto, the planet of domination and intensity also in his Ascendant, blending this energy with his identity.

When looking at key themes in his birth chart, we can see that there is an overwhelming amount of astrological aspects that speak of him being a magnetic leader. His Venus, the planet of charm, links to Pluto, the planet of domination. He’s well liked by others and can have an almost hypnotic effect on others—regardless if it’s personally or professionally. He can get involved in power struggles, but part of this is because he loves control and likes a challenge. His Jupiter stands opposite Uranus, bringing him great optimism and high ideals, as well as an inventive and original nature. He loves to envision endless possibilities of what he can do in the world. His Neptune stands opposite his Midheaven—or height of professional public recognition—which further brings him an enchanting effect on others, but can also show he always has his own very secret, very mysterious master plan. I absolutely love how his Jupiter links gorgeously with his Saturn, as this is a rare aspect of great leadership. He does have strong morals and thrives on being active in society and possesses significant ambition. Luckily, he was born into a place where he can exercise this well and because of this planetary link, he can function as a fantastic manager and King as he balances optimism, good judgment and practicality fluidly. His Mars sends sparks to his Midheaven, too, which brings him high levels of energy to get things done in his career and brings him many great achievements. His assertive nature is infused within him on every level and this gives him natural power. This is why, as King, he will revel in his might and will make many swift and vast changes. This will be a continuous factor, as he wants to be seen as the authority that he is. While part of this is ego-driven—and I will be honest, he can make enemies by ruffling people’s feathers quite easily—he does, at the end of the day, wish to be a force for good.

Also, upon peering even more deeply into his birth chart, his Moon, which rules his inner emotional life, also makes many contacts to planets. It dances with Jupiter exactly, which brings him a generally social and friendly personality who takes great pride in his honor and integrity. It also spins with Saturn, which can make him cautious and reserved when trusting others—but also reveals that this aspect gave him a very deep and insightful relationship with his mother, the late Queen. His Moon peers upon Mercury, which brings him a brilliant mind, a sharp tongue and a witty personality. Last, his Moon links to Mars, which brings him a vigorous, outgoing and daring temperament, as well. He’s strong, confident and bold. This shows that he will seize the day every day and stop at nothing to get what he wants.

Was Prince Charles astrologically compatible with Prince Diana and Queen Consort Camilla Parker Bowles?

Let’s take a quick peek at Prince Charles and his two significant partners.

Princess Diana was born on July 1, 1961. This makes her a Cancer Sun with an Aquarius Moon and Sagittarius Ascendant. Camilla Parker Bowles was born on July 17, 1947. This makes her a Cancer Sun with a Cancer Moon and a Leo Ascendant.

The thing I want to point out right away about both of these women is that they each have a watery Cancer Sun which aligns so significantly with Prince Charles’s Scorpio Sun. Water sign matches understand each other intuitively and he likes that both of his partners had a very maternal, domestic side. Yet, each of these women also have a Fire sign Ascendant, just like he does. With Princess Diana, there was a lot of spunk and spice, as she had a much more impulsive side to her than Camilla has. Camilla and Prince Charles share the same Rising sign, which shows that they go through similar patterns at the same time and also have a deep sense of understanding. I certainly see why he was drawn to Princess Diana first—but ultimately settled with Camilla after the unfortunate passing of the late royal.

What are predictions for Prince Charles?

So what lies ahead for the great newfound King? First and foremost, Jupiter, the planet of miracles, stands at the top of his chart throughout much of 2023 and 2024—revealing that he is at a height in his professional life and public recognition. The whole world will be watching him as he strikes forward and asserts himself. He has been going through powerful eclipses that began all the way back at the end of 2021 until the end of 2023 about transitioning to new heights and recreating himself, as well as being reborn as a phoenix in the next era going forward. Many of these eclipses are also shifting things for him around his career—as well as his home, family and yes, mother. These transformations were quite literally written in the stars. May a bright, beautiful reign await him. You heard it here first.
